  • Hello!

Well, very pleased with myself today, had a really healthy day, must have done over 2hrs walking as well.
    Today's DFW list:
    :) Adpoints
    :) FPL
:) Extra work - which minus travel fare will go straight off the CC.
:) walked instead of getting the bus into town
    :) food from stores/plans...

Tomorrow day out with my sister and her kids, I'm so looking forward to seeing them! Suggested we eat at home to save cash.

Have a lovely weekend everyone! xx

Hello all mind if I join in? I have been away from MSE for a while and my finances have taken a nosedive so today am having a full and frank discussion with myself. Today I have started by
Doing a stocktake of cupboards and freezers
Made a menu plan until Thursday
Done a batch cooking session and covered tonight tomorrow and monday,( Fajita's, sturdy soup and french bread pizza's)
    Had a NSD day
    Hung out washing optimistically!
Gathered all paperwork for tomorrow's big reality check

Just watching X factor and relax time..enjoy your evenings everyone

    Congrats and welcome back!

Thanks so much - :) still buzzing!

    Hope works good!

Todays plan is to work/rest/work/walk/tidy up and do a meal plan.

After the diy wedding I'm a bit food shopped out to be honest.

  • Morning campers :D LPP welcome back, you've been gone for ages!

Not much DFW stuff going on for me today but I will:

    * checked bank accounts - received cashback for dds - over £10 :D
    * Going to a music festival in home town today that is based over a number of pubs - work out what budget is and take only that out with me. Have a big day ahead of me on Monday so important not to get drunk!
    * work for 2 hours this morning - am glad of that extra hour!
    * going to look at tiles for bathroom. B&Q have a 15% dicount on tiles so going there and a local place to see the cost. If cheaper at B&Q we will buy
    * load of washing on & put on line for a bit
    * get clothes ready for tomorrow
    * have dinner at lunchtime & take sandwiches for snacks later on in the day
    * might take some drinks as well!
    * transfer food in outside chest freezer back into freezer in the house now it is defrosted

Depending on weather I might have to catch the train tomorrow (am a nervous driver and not sure I want to drive on the motorway in the winds) and will need to leave at 6.45 if I do  However it really doesn't look like Armageddon at the moment like the weather has been predicted? Not sure what to do? If I catch the train I have to leave at a ridiculous hour, if I drive I will get £20 additional in expenses above my petrol costs.... hmmmmmmm

ok should stop dilly dallying and get on with my work....

    Have a lovely sunday x

Aw thanks love that's really kind - funny seeing everyone scrubbed up - if anyone wants a neb at the ridiculous photos they are on bloglet and on FB. Just no laughing at my ample wrinkles!

Real life with new hub starts in about 6 months - eldest to get through school here so we're still living separate.

    :)

Cheap as chips but looked gorgeous.
