A whole NSD weekend. Proud of myself. Kids have been out with their friends. Food shop tomorrow, aim to spend £50.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

The changes in the CSA sound stressful, I don't know if it helps but I had to go through CMS this time round and I've not had to pay them a % yet. They set the amount and my ex pays by standing order, if he stops paying then I can report him to them and we'll go the other route where we both pay each month for the service and they collect the money for me. He's got an incentive to pay on time each month for now as the other way will cost him more. x
(Hope this makes sense I was up very early)

Thanks sellotape. I have got over the initial shock (for want of a better word) of it. Will have to see which way we go. He's been here to collect DS last week but didn't mention it. I'm playing it by ear.

Decided to get my weight sorted. Joining a well known diet plan. C4mbridge d1et. This will get me motivated to lose weight. I am at least a stone and a half overweight and all my clothes are tight!! Hoping it will give me the lift I need at the minuteMortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Good luck... I'm tackling my weight gain... SW though... I just need to keep up momentum. For (me everything slots into place when I'm not overweight. I feel confident, strong, capable.. but throw on an extra stone or 2 paranoia and self doubt slip in...
Being in control of weight finances and work is sooo empowering(not quite there yet;) )

The way I see that my OPs making a difference is that I have done spreadsheets all the way up to 2046 (when my mortgage officially ends) with the daily interest on it. Each time I make an overpayment, I recalculate what it costs me each day. I can spend hours doing these spreadsheets. Find it quite therapeutic, haha!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Thanks MFD, I do feel positive about it. Like you say, I'm empowered
Day one of the diet. Been up since 6.30. DS going to Wembley so saw him off at 7.30. Great day for it.
The outlay for the diet isn't very MS but I'm in the zone and I've got to do it.

Day 3 of my diet and I've lost 4lbs.
This has had an impact on the food shopping in a good way. Milk consumption reduced, butter and bread. Small difference to the food bill but nevertheless...Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014

Do you feel like you are in the zone diet wise? Every Monday I say I will start, and then it never seems to happen.
What's the Cambridge Diet? I don't want to join any of these faddy diets where you have to pay a fortune to not eat a lot, like the juicing one.
I did 5:2 successfully last year, but then put the weight back on and when I tried it again in January, it just didn't work for me.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

It is a bit gruelling but I'm finding it worth it. I have 3 products a day - shake, soup or meal then an evening meal - white fish, chicken with green salad or green veg. I have to drink approx. 3 litres of water a day. I've lost 7 pounds in my first week.
I have tried cutting down on carbs and reducing portions but wasn't structured enough..this is.
My friend does 5:2 and loves it.Mortgage 22 years £190,419 at 2.84% fixed for 2 years from 1st July 2014
