Call credit amend urgently needed

I hope that you are right as they had been advised that the more searches that are done the less likely you will get accepted as it makes your credit look bad.0

The latest on the problems with Call Credit is that although my daughter & son-in-law have now been able to view their credit file online this is not the same information that is being supplied to the bank. How can anyone deal with this company when they are not showing anything adverse on the file that my daughter & son-in-law have (all green) yet there is something that they are showing to the bank that is adverse. There should be nothing adverse on either file as they owe nothing and have had no debts in the past either but are likely to lose the house they want to buy. How can any problem get rectified when it is not shown?0

Your faith in Lloyds is quite touching but this has led to a blinkered mentality.- The Lloyds staff mortgages are not competitive and will be taxed as a benefit. So, no real advantage.
- They don't appear to be sympathetic to your daughter's plight, even although a staff member.
- Only bank available for a fast appointment? Go to a broker, they could probably see you the same day and offer a far greater range of mortgage products.
- The are many lenders that only utilise Experian and/or Equifax.
- Take Kingstreet's (25/10/13) advice and vote with their feet.

Hi Let Us See Thank you for your response. I was Lloyds staff for 47 years so maybe I am being too loyal as I completely agree that they are not being sympathetic enough to my daughter's plight. As well as them neither having bad credit it seems to be being suggested by Call Credit that my son-in-law has CCJs.....he does not. When looking at their Call Credit report online nothing bad is shown. My daughter & son-in-law are aware that there was some bad credit run up at the same address that he lived in but he was in one flat in the house the bad credit was at the other flat. This has now put "too many credit searches" against them I will make them aware of your suggestion to go to a broker. Nat West can not offer them an appointment for over a month.0

Whose judgment is this "too many credit searches" thing?
TBH until you get the Call Credit situation resolved, no-one can call this, with any degree of accuracy.
In the current market, you have two choices;-
1. You put your trust in a single lender representative who may be familiar with one lender's products and underwriting, who believes that if their employer says "it's impossible" then it truly is, when anyone with any experience of the market as a whole would disagree
or
2. You talk to a whole market broker who arranges mortgages all the time, knows the criteria of many lenders and avoids those who do not want/wish to lend in a given set of circumstances.
So far, all I see is a knee-jerk reaction to circumstances to satisfy one lender's requirements, where others may be willing to lend at better rates, more quickly and at a lower cost.
I may be completely wrong, but I doubt it. My call was "vote with feet" and now it's "whole market broker" if they want to secure this property now.I am a mortgage broker. Hi King Street Thank you for your response. I do understand that any bank having been given the information that Call Credit gave out about CCJs would feel that they must believe Call Credit. Lloyds have said sort it out with Call Credit and we can arrange the mortgage. What is so very frustrating is that they obtained their report online from Call Credit where nothing adverse is showing. This is not the same information that has been supplied to the bank. Why there is a difference has not been explained on any of the calls or emails sent to Call Credit. The only explaination has been that they have his previous address as being at 2 flats only one of which he lived in and the other deffinately had adverse credit. They have been told that until the situation gets resolved with Call Credit nothing can move forward. From what I have seen on here not all banks deal with Call Credit but they have had several searches done recently as they made enquiries with other banks besides Lloyds. They had a morgage agreed in principal by Nat West who could not arrange a appointment for more than a month for 1st time buyers 95% mortgages - they are too busy. I will pass on your "whole maker broker" suggestion.

Today's gripe about Call Credit is that my son-in-law's "free month" getting an online report from Call Credit (after having to wait for a key to be posted) showed nothing adverse however it did not show (although he advised them) the address they reported as having adverse credit to the bank. After many calls asking for this to be rectified they were advised this would be updated by today. It has not been and todays call suggested "it's possible we have got you at that address without the flat number quoted correctly -making it look like you have adverse credit". How can it be rectified my son-in-law asks. Email in to us (again). How long will it take to rectify the file. Well our SLA is a month. I call this outrageously unprofessional - a month SLA on their emails !!!!!0
