That is for NI driving licences, which come under different legislation to GB ones.0 -

A GB provisional licence issued by DVLA would normally be valid until the holder is 70, even if the address is out of date.
If it is a photo licence, the photo expires every 10 years, but that does not affect the validity of the licence.
An NI driving licence issued by DVA is only valid for 10 years, as in your link.0 -

never said he had to change address just surrender it!.
still wouldn't change the fact his license would have been updated with the same validity period as his paper one and a photocard expirey of 10years.
just realized you linked to NI DVA who have different legislation to England and wales and Scotland.
and yes they do have renew every 10 years.
looking on many websites they state paper part is valid 70yrs, and photo has to be updated every 10 are these all wrong including driving schools and your right?
its 70years OP even said its still valid!!!! or is the OP wrong too.
or your finely going to admit your wrong and move on!.0 -
Read Post No 1, different address, license not valid. Don't post at 1.42 in the morning it is impairing your clarity. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

The licence remain in force until surrendered, or until you're 70. A chance of address doesn't affect your entitlement to drive - you commit an offence by failing to surrender it (ie update it), but you don't commit a further offence by driving having failured to surrender it.0

Failing to update the name and address on a licence is the same offence as failing to update the photograph of a photo licence - contrary to s.99 (5), Road Traffic Act 1988.
Neither of which affect the validity of the licence.0 -
You can hold on to your paper licence until your details change, one such change is your address, when the change occurs you have to submit it , the new one will then be a photocard licence and the regulations applicable to such will applyYou scullion!
