Use a comparison website. How would we know what the cheapest price for you is with no information provided?0

what information do you want and i can provide it ?

To know what tariff is cheapest, you need annual kWh usage figures and a post code (since prices change regionally). But you may as well just enter them into a comparison website - if you post them here, you're asking us to enter the information into comparison websites for you...0

we still want to stay on british gas.. how do we find annual kilowatt usage figures?

That's her choice but you should ask her why. There's no real reason to stick to a certain company.glamrochick wrote: »mum been with them ages and wants to stay with them...
You don't know how to add 4 numbers together?glamrochick wrote: »don't know how to do annually because we get a bill every three months0 -
But do you have a bill from a year ago?
Take readings a year apart and subtract one from the other. (Don't add four bills together.)
If you don't want to do this telephone your supplier and they will tell you your annual consumption.0 -
I do think it is a lot simpler and obvious to just work with the difference between two readings - don't need to track down each and every bill and find all the figures. Too easy to lose track even when you know what you are doing. (Especially if there are any price changes or nsc tariffs*).Yeah true that would just be a giant number.
*And, no, I am not arguing against myself there!0
