    By all means, use the proper name if you really like the company and want to give them free advertising, but many of us on here feel that the big supermarkets are a necessary evil in today's life, to be avoided whenever possible! I'd certainly rather support a local butcher, baker etc if there is one in the area which sells decent produce, but often find there isn't so end up using one of the biggies.

    But the people calling them Mr T, Sainsbobs, @ldi etc are still going there! If you thought they were that bad you would boycott them entirely.

    Fresh fruit and veg, bread, toilet roll and cleaning products, tins, sausages, cheese and pasta/rice/oats all from @ldi.

    Frozen peas and sweetcorn, eggs (15 for £1.50) and frozen bacon (6 rashers for £1 and can be cooked from frozen) from Farmfoods.

    Branson beans, crisps and tinned tomatoes either from Home Bargains or £land when on offer so I stock up as they keep.

    tend to go to just one shopping centre aminly that has an Aldi, Sainsbobs, Iceland and now a new Poundland aswell, so everything in one place mainly, plus a trip to local tesco to finish things off, or we could go to morries or farm foods at the same time somewhre else so not bad really.
