We are on a storm warning. Ooohhh. Just in time for half term.

Have got rid of he dust from my bedroom today. It's got wooden floors and gets so dusty. I'm sure carpets so as well, but at least it doesn't collect in clumps!

    Hillstep, that sounds awful xxxxx

Butterfuly Brain, that's terrible. I'd tell the disrespectful idiots where to go.

My best friend had her baby early yesterday morning. He was a bit prem so is having some extra care. He's very gorgeous & I can't wait to get down to Wales & see them all.

Going to try & get ds2 to poop on the toilet. He still uses a nappy. He's fine with wee & has been dry in the day since feb. Overnight he's been dry for years. I was out last Friday nig & Himself couldn't find ds2s dummy. Ds2 hasn't had a dummy since! And he hasn't asked for it! :D

Hope everyone is ok, sorry I don't remember what everyone writes x

    Love (((hugs))) & spoons

    Xxx

    Morning all!
I have had a horrid week with next door doing building work. They never even bothered to tell me that it was happening.:mad:Yesterday I phoned my neighbour the other side in tears,it sounded like they were coming through my wall.
(((HUGS))) I sympathise - Bu88erlugs that had next door to us prior to the Odd Couple moving in made my life pure hell for the best part of 2 years with his building work. That was when we had the rat infestation, too, which originated in the trash-heap at the bottom of his garden.

Hi there, thanks for everybody's advice re the council. I eventually tracked down the person in charge and she called me back and was very apologetic. Apparently there had been an emergency and the builder had been pulled off our job to go to it. She admitted she should have called to let me know what was going on and as I said she was very apologetic. Anyway, it has been rescheduled now for Monday am so I should only have to wait in for a morning. It's been quite a stressy old day today so I shall be glad when the weekend starts. Take care
    Cheers m'dears x

    Evening all,

a bit of a late posting from me but I have news.. WE NOW HAVE A NEW CAR! Sorry for shouting but I want to shout it from the rooftops as I am sick of car showrooms and hubby talking cars.

He is now the proud owner of a Citroen C3 Picasso. He vowed to never own a French car but he's had to eat his words. Anyway, the deal has been done and he picks it up in a weeks time. I hope he gets on with it or it will be a very expensive mistake.... Moving swiftly on. My phone has broken. I dropped it on the stone floor of the car showroom and some of the apps have gone weird. Ive lost my contacts which were stored in my phone and not on the sim. Hubby has had to go out and buy a cheap pay as you go smartphone to put my contract sim in. Ive just got to get used to the thing now. Ive got so many contacts that I cant replace.

Came home from the showroom and had Grandbaby for a couple of hours whilst his Mummy and Daddy went to the gym. Luckily he slept so I was able to get on with cooking the tea.

    Have a good evening all.

    Evening all,

Sorry. Late one from me. I've been dashing all day, well limping:D
Had my Pre op this morning. It all seems very real, went into great detail about how painful it is afterwards:eek: I'm scared but determined to get on and get back to my old self.
Also my daughter and DGS are half moved in, so we need to finish that tomorrow. Other son and gf are going to help. There will be lots to go into the loft.
Just finished tea and cleared away so pjs on and a glass of wine for me.
I made a mistake yesterday and had cheese spread with gluten in, boy was I sorry last night. I understand Philly is GF so shall get some tomorrow. I suppose I will slip up occasionally until I get to grips with it all, but I was annoyed.

butterfly brain sorry to be a pest, where did you get your electric dryer from and what was the cost again. I can't find your original post, my mum wants to get one, I will probably get one myself as well, save using the dryer all the time. Have you tried it yet?
RR hope the weathers not too bad Monday. We have had the same forecast here and already had a thunderstorm and torrential rain this evening.
Anyway enough waffle, sleep well J x
