can i get a overpayment paid back

Options
Too cut a long story short, I received a bill from Wessex water about a month ago saying I was £236 in credit, Am I within my rights to ask for this overpayment back, or can they refuse and just lower my monthly payments accordingly?, mind you to lower my payments down for it too significantly reduce my credit I will only be paying £10 a month lol

TIA
Take every day as it comes!!

When we recalculate instalment payments annually we wouldnormally automatically refund any credit more than £30. The simplest wayto resolve this is for you to call our billing customer service team on 0845600 3 600, or email us with full details on customer.services@bwbsl.co.uk

    Thanks

Agree with the above post. If a few more water companies took the time to answer queries it would save the company a lot of trouble and strife from other customers.
