Halifax Switch £100

Yep, got the £100 before I left the branch.

It'd be worth giving them a ring if it's been longer than a week.

Anyone get their £100 that were promised it by Monday. When I rang I was told it would be in by Monday and its still not there yet. Also my cheque book that I ordered in branch 2 weeks ago has still not arrived yet my partners arrived last week. Really not a great start for Halifax!!

Do the 2 DD's have to be to different recipients? I've got one savings account that accepts DD's, just wondering if I'll have to open another.

I ended up getting my £100 but I know a few people that have had no end of problems.

I was in same position, but have a Paypal account so just fund £1/month via a DD from my Halifax Reward. Once it shows up in your PayPal after a few days you can always FastPay it on.

I am with Halifax so I cannot get the £100 I don't think? I don't bank with them but having a small savings account. Does anyone know?

I called Halifax 3 times to find out where my £100 was the
- first time they said it was on its way.
- second time they said it was due to the branch and nothing to do with the people on the phone.
- Third time i called 4 days after the completed transfer date i get my £100 + £38 for the difficulty.

thats the only way to get more than your £100 in a 12month timescale.

I think as long as you move a current account from another bank, and use their switching service u get the £100

I eventually got mine after a 6 week wait and £36 extra for the inconvenience and the 4 phone calls I had to make. First few times I rang the switching team and they were !!!!!!! useless. Last time I just rang customer services and the money was in my account in less than 24 hours.
