done mine other night & replaced my Orange Livebox

and up 1.7MB speed I went to over 8.2MB!

8.2Mb is the sync rate, not your connection speed
... if you were on 1.7Mb before, then i'd imagine you'll still be actually getting this sort of speed now - since the speed is dependant on your line length, the hardware may affect the speed a little, but certainly not that much!
Do a speed test, then tell us the results0 -

I've got one of these Voyager thingys from when I was online with BT or AOL... so I can use it with Orange BB then?
As I now have a Netscape or something from AOL...0 -
providing the modem isn't locked, or that it supports 8mb or more, you can use almost any modem with any broadband supplier0

Did you actually do a speed test as per post #4 above? Post a link to your test as I very much doubt that you are actually getting 7.5 Mbps after simply changing your router.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
i think the fastest speed anyone can get is around 7.1Mb0
