I, like many I'm sure are using nPower's Energy Online Jan 14 dual fuel tariff. After looking at MSE's energy club I seem more confused than ever.
I would be slightly better off by switching to nPower's price fix 2015 april but I think there is a £60 exit fee for me to switch?? So after this I'm no better off.
Should I gamble and wait until my Jan 2014 tariff ends or switch now because who knows what tariffs will be available then.
Would be interested to see what others in our situation are doing.
Annual useage Elect - 3650 Gas - 21400 (approx. for 2012)

Hi, I was also on the Jan 14 deal. I've just called and moved to the April 15 deal. It made sense as they agreed to waive the £60 exit fee as I complained I hadn't been advised about them. In truth I just don't remember :-)0

Sometimes exit fees don't apply when switching to another tariff from the same provider, so call them and ask.0

I rang them and the employee told me to hold so he could speak to his manager and came back to tell me they could not offer me another tariff w/o having to apply the exit fee of £60. I told them then that when my present tariff with them expires(Energy Online 14)I will go to a comparison site and if I can then find a cheaper tariff elsewhere they will lose me. They still refused to waive the exit fee....so they will definitely lose me, a customer of 8 years, in January.Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Perhaps an Npower rep can come into this thread and tell me why they have been discriminatory/contradictory! Well done you though.
Definitely going to go elsewhere in January!Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Seek advice by clicking here: Private Parking forum on MoneySavingExpert.:j0
