  • Car battery was flat when went to drive kids to school this morning,so ended up walking them (not a long way, just time).Of course, all the way it was eyes down.Found nothing.
However......on the way to collect children this afternoon, found 20p about 2ft onto the road.I had been walking on one side of the road, and only about 10 sec after crossing I found this on the new side,so just abit of a fluke that I found it at all,I'd say.
I hope everyone is going well.

I did get kinda excited this morning when i found a christmas first class stamp, i was under the impression stamp could be classed as legal tender, but a short google search later i find they are not actual legal tender, but may be taken in payment if the vendor agrees. so not valid for this challenge :o

    My quest continues......

Technically you found 60p though because the next time you need to send something, you won't have to fork out for one ;) Well done! x

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Found 1p and 5p next to each other this morning at the station. I started this month so well but feel like I'm not doing so well lately, it has been very cold so more difficult to just nip out. Must try harder! There has also been about 50ps worth of change I have not picked up due to walking too fast or being in awkward places like in the middle of a crowd, where to stop and pick it up would cause a human pile up! Total so far: £7.12

Well as I glumly scour the streets I realise I haven't found anything since the beginning of the month. I wonder to myself are these street being pounded by fellow Roadkill Rebels.

It will get easier - honest to goodness it will! Hubby and I have definitely expanded our repertoire and parking machines are a good place to look. We snagged 50p from one last night. Don't give up!! There is money out there!

I agree with hollie! That's 60p in your pocket! Not technically roadkill but it all helps. I found a brand spanking new loaf of bread, still sealed, in a trolley in A$da's car park last month and you can be darn sure I took it home and ate it.......and I considered it a saving to my grocery list!

This is a great message though because you would never have found it if you had driven - this is why hubby and I walk a lot more than we used to and I walk at lunchtime for no reason other than to find money. Walking is king! :)
