Hard Landing question?

Hi
Can someone help me and confirm is a hard landing and the aircraft needing to be checked after the hard landing before it's next flight be classed as an "extraordinary circumstance"?
Also depending on the reason why a hard landing was taken could this affect whether it is an "extraordinary circumstance"?
Trying to claim with easyjet after a 5.5 hour delay from Mykonos.
