Technique/process for keeping Sky after cancelling

Options
I have recently cancelled my Sky TV package, giving 31 days notice.
I have two key questions:

* Am I correct to assume I will get marketing calls over the next month?
* Am I able to call them up at any time right up to day 31 and re-instate my existing package as it was when I cancelled (which was on better terms than new packages - eg. F1 given with HD, whereas for new users you have to take Sports to get F1.)

When I cancelled, they couldn't offer me any discount :-(

I guess I'm already getting quite a few discounts on my Phone/Broadband that is with Sky.

Current package:
* Entertain Extra with Movie HD £53.24
* Broadband FREE
(£15 discounted by £5.00 because have SKY landline, discounted further £2.50 because have TV, discounted further by £7.50 for 12 months, by contracting for 12 months)
* Sky talk £11.70
(paid £140.40 for 12m in advance)

TOTAL £64.94

Am getting good discount on Phone and broadband.
But TV is still full price :-(

By cancelling Sky TV, my broadband would go up a little.

Would have liked a discount on the TV package.......

    So you only cancelled in the hope of an offer, they are waiting for you to blink first.
    What ever you do don't blink................................................
    That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Only if your privacy settings allow them. Check on MySky.

    If you've only cancelled the TV element of your subscription then you remain a customer. All you've done is downgrade your package.
    I doubt you'll get any calls during your notice period, it's more likely you'll get flyers posted to you offering TV at a reduced rate after you have cancelled.
  • I certainly don't think Sky will re-instate your package on the original favourable terms now that you have cancelled. But you can always ask!

    Since a lot of the deals already applied are for telephony and broadband, I imagine these will be unaffected since the Op has only cancelled the TV element of his subscription. However, he won't get F1 anymore unless he subscribes to Sky Sport.
