Crutches- can you buy them?

    The advantage of getting them suplied by medical people is that they can set them up correctly for you. It is very easy to get into bad posture by having then not adjusted properly, thus making problem worse. The Red Cross might well be quicker than getting a referal from your GP. Depends on where you are. They do ask for a donation but if you really cannot meet their guidelines on this they will never refuse anyone a loan of necessary equipment. Or so my local depot told me. Before I got my crutches from Argos and my wheelchair and wheely walker frame thingy from ebay :)
