Crutches- can you buy them?

My oh is partially disabled and has great problems walking any distance as he has a lot of pain when he puts his left leg to the floor.
We plan to take a holiday and are considering a cruise. However his mobility around the ship would be greatly helped if he could get a pair of elbow crutches to use. He is going to speak to his doctor about this later this week.
There are a few occasions where they would or would previously have helped him so we wondered if is is possible to get some for his own personal use.
Are they available to purchase anywhere?

Hello,
You don't need to buy the boring grey ones. Websites such as switchsticks sell patterned ones. This is where I buy my walking sticks from.

I've seen loads for sale on ebay and elsewhere. If they help your O/H's mobility your GP will refer you for some so you don't have to pay for them.
Enjoy your cruise!0 -
