    Hi
Well my parents have been denied the right to return it by both telephone and email response. Apparently if its opened you have no rights to return it. This seems very wrong...what happened to a cooling off period for this subscription - does that not exist?

It states dailymailplus & these items:-

    Daily Mail Plus
    Weekend Magazine
    Mail on Sunday Plus
    You Magazine
    Event Magazine
I presume you get the basic Daily Mail stuff as in a normal 'paper' version?

I would have thought the distance selling regulations would apply giving you the right to cancel within seven business days starting the day after receipt.

    Hello everyone.

I am confused - the small print in the paper says "Purchase of tablet is conditional on purchasing minimum 12-month subscription. Price of tablet and subscription is £119.88." And they say the Fire is "worth £119". So what are they saying? Is it:

    1) Free Kindle Fire, and pay £119.88 for the subscription
    2) Purchase the (free) Fire for £119 and get the subscription for 88p

You obviously have to take both together.
I feel that somehow there is a horrible catch here somewhere!

Also Custardy can you help me out with the memory details? I can see that it has 8Gb, but that is presumably the built-in memory. Can you stick a memory card in it as well?

The Amazon write-up about the Fire seems to imply that it is for kids, and the more I read about it the less of a wonderful Mail bargain it seems to be!:(

I already gave you a link to all the specs a few posts up
you pay £119.88 and get a Kindle fire plus years sub
they are banking on you keeping it going
their costs dont really rise on the deal
They already run the service. so its a case of how much they get the tablets for

Hi all, I hope someone can answer my question, I was going to take this offer up but does anyone know if you pay the whole year up front or is it a direct debit of £9.99 a month? Thanks in advance

In the newspaper ad it says "Full 12-month subscription must be paid in advance".
