Has anyone else had Virgin refuse to honour the wine offer on their credit card despite the offer still being on their web site when they applied?
It seems like they had too many applicants and now they don't want to pay out.

There is another thread regarding this subject, link below.
I struggled to get the wine, after initially being told I was not eligible despite applying, and being accepted, in August.
Pleased to say I received the wine last week, and it is now all gone - nice it was too!!!

I was told the offer had been withdrawn on MoneySavingExpert website (23 August) before I applied (25 August) therefore my application was invalid, but I do not believe them! And now I cannot really prove it.0

In the end, I contacted the 0845 number and my eligibility/ineligibility wasn't mentioned. I was original told I was inebible in a phone call direct to Virgin and not to the Virgin Wine team.
However, I did put in a formal letter of complaint to Virgin about how the whole issue was handled with me - and their final response was that they had never told me I was ineligible.
I don't think that you had to apply through this website link to get the offer?
If you havent yet spoken to the 0845 number, then I suggest you try that route...0
