Great stuff, I have just gone for it thanks.0

When I have previously applied for this offer, there has always been a section stating that:
'You will be notified of the date of collection of your first direct debit payment by post & the frequency of the collection of subsequent Direct Debit payments in writing, a minimum of ten working days before the first collection. At that point, if you wish to cancel the Direct Debit mandate you will be able to do so simply by advising customer services'
However, I could not see this 'get out clause' on this particular offer ... have I missed it (previously shown next to 'Payment Details' section, just prior to 'Place order' button) ?
If this is not stated, would you still (legally) be able to cancel the order when further payments were required, or are you tied into a binding contract?
(TIA)If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0 -

I could not see that either, but don't worry it is a Direct debit and you can cancel whenever you like.
If as you suggest it is a "binding contract", how would that work as there is no end date or notice period so in efect it would be a contract until eternity.
If no notice period or anything to the contrary you can cancel whenever you like without consequences as far as I can see.

Yeh dont worry .It states in the confirmanation letter that 'You have the right to cancel your direct debit at anytime..My first payment of 90p was taken from account on 5th OCT. and the next payment of £36.40 is due to be taken on 6th Dec.. So you have 2 months after first payment to stop DD.I tend to cancell a couple of weeks before due date incase they stop sending existing tv papers.0

The same has happened to me too - really pleased as it's arrived before I've bought a tv mag for next week :j0 -
