Help with Courier needed urgently please!

Hi, wondering if someone could help me please?

I bought an item off ebay (pushchair frame) that was listed as collection only or could arrange a courier.

Seeing as I live nowhere near the seller Ive opted to arrange a courier, something I've never done before.

Anyway I just went to book one with myhermes and after confirmation it then said I needed to print off a label and I think a delivery note to include with it. But seeing as the package isn't with me I can't do that and the seller says she doesn't have a printer.
Just wondering if there's any way round this?
Thanks

it will be sent to you as a pdf file, just save it and then email it to the seller

The seller doesn't have a printer.

Interested in the answer to this one myself, I always check beforehand if the seller is prepared to print a label as I am not sure how sending it in the post would work, what if the the post got delayed, believe you have to book the collection time before you pay.
  • Thanks for the replies, she doesn't have a printer so can't print it off. Do you have to do this with all couriers?

If you read the OP, they say "the seller says she doesn't have a printer."

All I've used want the form printing off before they will collect, yep.
As said, I think probably the only thing you can do is print off then post the form.
However the seller is being a bit naive, as they have no contract with the courier and won;'t get any tracking info, there's nothing to shelter them from an item not received claim.

what if the the post got delayed,

    Send it special delivery then.
  • The only problem is I'd booked it to collect it tmrw and I won't be able to get to the post office til tmrw so I guess I'd have to arrange it for later this week or next week to be sure?

I would do it next week if you can't get to the PO until this Weds.

the fact is you use a service like parcel2go, you book courier who will collect the following day, so even posting SD would still be risky. the only option for not having to print labels for couriers is for the seller to take it to a PO and send it by RM parcel
