Just got this message from Dispatch Bay

Yodel Pricing

From the 1st November 2013 your YODEL rate will be changing. Despatch Bay work hard to ensure you get the best possible service at the best possible price. However due to recent movement in rates from our suppliers we will be increasing YODEL prices by 5%.
Rest assured that you will continue to receive the high quality service you are used to with Despatch Bay and all other courier rates will remain unchanged.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued custom.

I assume if Yodel are increasing their prices then others will soon follow.

I assume if Yodel are increasing their prices then others will soon follow.

Couriers arent energy suppliers. Yodel have increased prices for everyone. They do it ad hoc - alot of couriers do it in an annual price review process.

Yodel increased the Collect+ rates a while back, its because base costs are rising - fuel costs more etc etc etc.

Unfortunately life costs more now.

I am aware of this, this is the Praise, Vent & Warnings forum, so its just a price increase warning, City Link increased their prices a couple months back, so i ASSUME others will follow suit (notice the word ASSUME)
