Sounds cookie based, and that you have your browser set up to flush cookies at the end of a session (which is not a bad idea at all) or use noscript or ghostery or something similar. Maybe even incognito browsing mode.
No point trying to copy cookies, set opera up as a completely separate setup0 -

Sorry not funny
In fact my humour is past those sort of jibes. I guess by that you are middle-aged, over 40 but below 60?
No - I am a 21 year old female - why ?0 -
I've just run foul of this, I had to clear my cookies and history for another reason, now I have no access to my Tesco credit card account, as I managed to enter the wrong password twice. I've no idea what the password is, as I recall when it changed to the new system, it deliberately made it impossible to use one that was memorable by a human, so I used the two variations I thought I might have used, but of course can't remember if I used upper case and funny characters and where, as my brain doesn't store this sort of thing well.
All my other accounts are pretty easy to log in to, HSBC remember som personal stuff and use a key, Barclaycard remember my memorable word and number, Santander business remember my password and code.
Never had any problems with them, I have to jigger about with Tesco every time.
Now I will have to call them tomorrow, as I can't reset my password because I am using a suspicious computer, ie the laptop I've been using for 4 years.
Not the most user friendly system any company's ever come up with...
Thankfully I pay the Tesco card with a direct debit, and won't get slapped with any charges for failing to make a payment due to being unable to login to my own account!0 -
They use flash cookies
Sometime called supercookies
Quite common for some financial groups to use the "recognise your computer" thingy and having to go though additional security procedures if you are using a different one to one used previously or have cleared out your cookies.
You are not tied to one computer.
Use keepass for managing your passwords (amongst other similar programs)0 -
Whenever I restart my computer it loses all saved information for my bank accounts and credit cards. i have to go through the rigmarole of requesting a code is sent to my phone to log back in.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Or something like KeePass for the passwords.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0
