I am quite a newbie to this but I would love someone to tell me how you keep a thread in the early pages so that your enquiry gets a chance of being answered

Your question will appear in a particular section ie Old Style, techie, gas & eledtric, people that have advice or a point of view normally check out those sections, will find your question and answer.
For example when I log on I always look at the Old style board and see if I can help any one. Then discussion and move round to see what the topics of the day are.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
