Sneaky copy and paste from my own diary thread ;)

Just after 9am and I've already been to two supermarkets :rotfl:

£1.98 spent in Ald! on bread, brocolli and onions. Finally things I want on the Super Six again £2.67 spent in Sainsbugs on split peas (soup-making in plan for later), crumpets and bananas. For that whopping spend I also got vouchers for:

Double points on my next shop
200 points if I spend £5 on toys
£4.50 off my next £30 shop

    ***

I am hopefully getting my car back today (he's been in the garage all week) which means I can get big shops done again. I have £54 on my Morri$ons savers card, so I'm going to fill the freezer with meat and get some tinned goods too, as well as some extra boxes of chocolates for people for Christmas. I don't know if I "need" anything in Sainsbugs to use that £4.50 voucher, so I'm going to get some list-writing done and figure out my plan of attack.

Can I update my total for December from £250 to £300 as I have a £50 carry-over from November, yay! I also need to take off £10 towards the steak I bought last month (so £20/£50) so far.

    Will update my signature shortly.

  • Ahhh December - yay! :j

Love Christmas and all the associated baking and food gubbins so for one month only I'm budgeting £150!

We will give a contribution to my parents for Christmas day (breakfast and huge lunch being provided plus secretly hoping for left overs to bring home hehe) and boxing day. Also need stuff for bf's parents house - I'm thinking drinks and homemade treats.

We will buy in some treats/snacks we wouldn't usually splash out on and a few drinks (so mostly snowballs for bf and non-alcoholic stuff for me!) and I will also stock up on baking offers I've seen around :)

We also need dog food, hoping it's on offer again and I can get a few months worth :)

Likelihood is to come in under budget but it's nice to have the breathing space!

Hi - has everyone recived their S*bobs points update - it has a double value weekend points voucher to be used this weekend.

I don't shop there much but my points doubled will pay for some beer for Xmas - if they have any of the offer I want left!!!!

Sorry more information - this is what it says on website "you can exchange your Ne*tar points for a voucher worth twice as much, to spend in one of our four festive categories: Champagne, Beauty, Electricals and Frozen Desserts. You can redeem one Nectar Double Value voucher per category. Maximum £20 voucher."

Looks like I'll have to buy champagne then - only joking!!!

    Nov 16 £0/£200

Decided to use some of the underspend from November to buy a new toaster as sure we are spending more money of electric using the grill on the cooker than a toaster.

The new toaster cost £20.99 so will update both signatures to show this spend.

I received a S bobs points statement in the post this week with a Double up voucher - and lots of other vouchers for things I don't need like car hire!! I think there is information on the website and as far as I can see from that you don't need to have the voucher to double up? You may wish to check that.

I get paid on the last working day of the month so I'm still in November but I'd like to register December as £400 please. Giving myself an extra £50 for Christmas. :D
