Thank you - I am too impatientBeing well for the weekend sounds good, not that we're going anywhere or doing anything :rotfl:
And get well soon too - tea and a choc chip fairy cake being sent over the ether :xmassmile:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Supposed to be doing lots of work admin, but have got sidetracked by Nectar Canvass surveys - 4 of them totalling 210 points! Nectar adpoints checked and now up to 77.
Started the new month of Nectar search bar too - up to 8 points there.
Went out first thing this morning to the Post Office and my old phone has now gone to Envirofone. Fingers crossed they pay what they quoted.
The HAX balance transfer has gone through with fee, so have set up £205 to go from bank account on Monday to pay the £180 fee and £25 off the balance. So New CC2 will be £5975.
Old CC2 is now sitting with just £150 on it and that will be paid off at next statement time (mid month), which will leave it clear to money transfer the £5,800 (or maybe less depending on funds) to pay to the car company in April.
CC1 statement due on 9/12.
eBay sales going ok and bids starting to creep up. Hoping for a battle of the bidders on Sunday evening.
Ooh, I won a Quidco Christmas bonus today - £26 off a purchase in Debenhams. Ummed and arghed whether to get presents and put aside for birthdays/Xmas next year, but have treated myself instead to a new purse which was £31 in the sale, so has cost me £5 for a lovely leather new one. Current one is about 10 years old and the popper doesn't work anymore, but I will keep it and use it for coupons, vouchers and loyalty cards.
Heating is on 18C and I'm quite warm with my fleece on.
Feeling a bit better today thankfully. Need to get onto the big jobs this weekend of cleaning light fittings and windows (inside and out) before everyone descends for lunch on the 15th. Not far away now and I've yet to write a list of veg and some drinks to get.Back on the DFW Wagon:

I think I'm stupid, but all I get on the Quidco homepage is a message telling me I'll get a bonus if I spend with five retailers this Christmas. Bah!0

It's all a bit confusing I must admit, there's 3 things running on there as far as I can see:
1) The Christmas Game - which has several different things to achieve - first row for £4 was easy, next row for £6 is tougher with an in-store purchase, a referral, a click-snap and something else I forget :rotfl:
2) The Christmas Bonus one - that's the 5 retailers to get an extra Quidco percentage bonus
3) A new one that popped up last weekend I think - it's a daily click on the box to see if you've won a 'Quidcode' to spend. That's where I got the £26 to spend in Debenhams from today. Have to spend within 24 hrs though.
My terminology doesn't help, but hope that explanation is better. I wonder if I've got extra stuff because I've recently rejoined?
Must be my lucky day today - just done another P!necone research survey for £3 to Paypal and going to receive the products for testing.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Can someone help on an eBay question please?
Out of my 4 items up for sale, 2 of them have latest bids from abroad - even though I've got on there it's UK postage only. :wall:
What happens if someone overseas wins? I am not prepared to send abroad where the parcel can't be tracked to it's destination.

No takers on the eBay question then :rotfl: Will wait and see where the bidders are based tonight when the auctions end. Values are low too, but still time for that to improve.
On the upside have had a spend-free weekend though DS needs £5 tomorrow for a school trip later this week.
CC 1 statement is in so I've set up a payment of £375 to that for 16/12 - will be down to £675 and 2 months left of the 0%. I will achieve it :j
New CC2 payment of £205 goes out tomorrow.
The change bucket is up to £1 in 1p's, £1 in 2p's, £5 in 5p's and £20 in £2 coins - £27 for the bank and that will go towards CC 1 to reduce it further.
Nectar adpoints - 93 this week
Nectar Canvass - completed more surveys today for 190 points
Nectar card is at £10.98
freepostcodelottery checked
bank account checked
Meal plan for this week:
Last night - made a batch chilli and 5 portions went in the freezer
Tonight - Roast gammon and trimmings
Mon - Gammon, chips and peas
Wed - Suet clanger with gammon, potato and onion in, with veg
Thur - Meat pie, mash and veg
Fri - home made pizza
Sat - Chilli again!
Had a Farm F00ds leaflet come through with £2.50 off £25 spend so might do the weekly shop there this week, as I can get the extra milk, bottles of fizz, big bags of potatoes etc that I need for Sunday.
Other veg I will shop around for - brussels, caulis, parsnips. If Aldi are still doing Chantennay carrots in their Super 6, I'll get those there - they are delicious.
I'm fretting about not having enough of a gift for ex-FIL, but have seen Sports Direct doing 3 pack of walking socks for £2.50 so I plan to pop down there this week and take a look. That would go well with the present I've got for him already. They also buy DS and I a gift each, which is generous of them considering the situation.
Want to make some plans for 2014 next, will wrote more on that later.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.Back on the DFW Wagon:

can't help with eBay sorry, but I'm sure there is some way of not getting negative feedback coz they can't read uk only.
You can so pay the cc1 off in time!!! Doing great!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Thanks Rags, the auctions have just finished and I am relieved to report they are all UK buyers who won :j Sold 3 items out of 4 I listed for just over £30 - that's before fees and postage. £16 already paid too
So, extra money this month to CC1:
eBay - say £25 after buyers all paid and fees etc
Change bucket - £27 just need to bank this
Envirofone - £32 tbc - should hear this week
Quidco - £1 guaranteed this month
I would never have done this without starting the diary and being inspired by everyone. :beer:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Today's update.
How expensive is it to post eBay parcels  £8.20 spent on that and still one more to get paid for and then send.
£1.99 for 6 pints of milk. I will add extra to the weekly shop in future as that's 50p that can be saved and seems we are using more than we used to.
£2.99 walking socks for ex-FIL for Xmas to go with other present.
Another parental hospital appointment so running around with that this morning. Next one on Wednesday afternoon. Thank goodness I can work around these.
Bank account checked - HAX £205 gone out, that should show up on CC online tomorrow
Paid into bank the £27 from change bucket
Nectar adpoints - done 9, some more to do in a bit
Nectar canvass - nothing today, still recovering from earning 400 points Fri to Sun
Had a power cut locally this morning for over an hour - I smugly enjoyed the 0 on the energy monitor whilst hoping the freezers would be okThankfully was easy to locate the candles as it was 7am and still dark.
Left over gammon for tea with chips and peas. Plenty left for tomorrow night.
Got muddy footie boots to clean again tonight. Anyone care to share how they do them? I scrape off as much mud as I can then clean under a running tap but am hoping there is a more water-saving way.
Have played around with budgets into 2014 and think I will have £430 to go to CC1 in January - on top of paying the first £650 capital payment to the mortgage :T
Think that's it for today.Back on the DFW Wagon:
