According to Shortlist, I Am, In Fact, Male...

It used to be that Shortlist would register me as female after a few clicks of the "female" button.

Now, however, no matter how many times I click it it will only select male!

I'm not male. Think my tits should be a giveaway.

Is it the same for anyone else?

have you tried pressing and holding shift then clicking female? it's the only way i'm able to change gender

If you click just to the right of the circle, rather than in it, by where it says "female", this should work.

If it's just for entering competitions, does it matter?
I quite often turn myself into a Mr if the form only has Mr, Mrs or Miss - daft I know, but if I can't be Ms, I refuse to choose between Mrs or Ms on the grounds my marital status is none of their business and they shouldn't be so oldfashioned.
It's like the false date of birth - if it's queried I just say I must have pressed the wrong button by mistake.

LOL, I've done this by double clicking on the female box very quickly. They don't make life easy for us though, do they

I spent ages struggling with this same thing but found it works fairly consistently if you click the mouse just below the box, on the actual word 'female'. Worth a try if you are autofilling and dont want to have to resort the keyboard!

The Shortlist comps have been like this for ages but seem to have got worse just recently.

If you click the actual word "Female" which is underneath the little circle that you are supposed to click in, it works first time.

Nooo I found the answer to this, don't click on the box thingy, click the words 'female'
