I live in an area that doesn't have cable and I am not in the free broadband area for sky either.
I currently have phone, line rental and basic broadband with plusnet
I have sky tv with sports and ent extra.
I pay upfront line rental and about £11 month for phone on bb. sky tv is is about £50 a month.
my hubby wants sky sports so this restricts our options.
just wondered if any other packages do a deal with sky sports.
i looked on the BT website and found it confusing.
thanks

Subject to a 5Mbps internet line speed, TalkTalks YouView service or BT Vision will provide what you want. But for BT Vision, you need to have an aerial, to get BTV's Sky Sports channels. No HD on any channels though.0

The only providers that offer all 6 Sky Sports channels are Sky and Virgin Media who are also the only ones to offer them in HD together with the "red button" alternative events/matches options etc. BT Vision, Talk Talk etc only offer Sky Sports 1 and 2 and are really a very poor "cheapo" alternative - you get what you pay for around one third of the total Sky Sports content. So it really depends on which of the Sky Sports channels that your hubby's sports are actually on.0

I think then we are stuck with sky then. Thanks for clarifying it.0 -

BT only offer Sky Sports 1&2 Dave, but TalkTalk offer all the Sky Sports channels across the board.
But your right that Sky Sports is no longer broadcast on DTT. So apologies, I was stupidly thinking of BT Sport. :cool:0
