I don't think the OP actually weighed the prawns. I think they are saying the label on the shelf said 240g but the printed weight on the actual packet stated 200g.0 -
Well today Asda are selling:
440g Asda King Prawns at £4.00.
200g Asda King Prawns at £2.00.
240g Asda Extra Special Raw King Prawns at £3.00.
It looks like if you had picked up the 240g bag, you would've been charged £3.00 for it.

Is it really worth writing anywhere?
It looks like someone made a mistake.
Making a mistake is not breaking the law.
Only if the wrong price was intentional would it be breaking the law.
You could if you wish report it to Trading Standards.
If I were you I would mention it next time you are there and hopefully they might offer you something, but I wouldn't be going out of my way for about 40p.0 -
