How to fall in love with saving money

Once set up it's 60 seconds effort a month, so well worth it IMO
You must be a fast typist — it takes me nearly that long to log in, then there's waiting for the various pages to appear, and re-typing my password to validate the transaction. It's still worthwhile though. :beer:Eco Miser

Just timed itat 34 seconds - URL saved as a bookmark so chrome fills it in as soon as I type HAL..., lastpass fills in username/password, three characters from dropdown, click make a payment, click existing recipient, enter amount, lastpass fills in password again, click confirm, done :A

Very speedy! No wonder Lomcevak can run 26 miles so fast.
I think I'm with Eco Miser on the pace of logging in
Well I wish I'd read this morning's posts before now because I've just told work to transfer my salary into my new TSB account. But I'll mosey on over to Halifax and look at opening an account there too. I can always get the work people to change my salary details again next month. Re YNAB, no haven't sat down and had a go at it yet ... I will put it on my to-do list, that way I will definitely get my head around it.
Welcome home atush by the way - good to have you backJoJoC, I haven't even sat down and worked out what I managed to save in April yet! I haven't been keeping very good track. Well done on the £9 though.

It's better than having sad faces Cathy!
I'm an overuser of smily faces too, and exclamation marks! Haha
Managed to do some washing, dishes and cleared out some of my son's toys so far today but I'm really lacking motivation! I'm about to do 15 minutes in the kitchen but I figure as soon as I start my son will wake up, Sod's law! But I'll give it a go anyway.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

I went to tesco like i do every friday.
And spent less than I have ever spent lol (abt 57 quid incl wine).
This means I must be ill0 -
Obviously i'm not suggesting doing it quite that quickly (although if you're still typing in your password you should look at lastpass
) but just wanted to illustrate that rather than earn a bit over a fiver a month after tax - assuming you keep £2000 in there all the time, less if not - with minimal effort you can have a bit over a tenner instead. Won't make you rich, but all adds up.
