Good evening, all!
I was successful until the end of work Friday for my purple week
This week I am pledging £5 as I expect to get some money back that I am owed.0 -
Hi
Could I join in please?
I have a very spendy week coming up, so it's probably not the best time to join!
The things I know I'll be spending on that I can't avoid are:
Boiler service: £90
Petrol for a trip: £50 (approx)
So I'm going to take these out of my calculations and I'm budgeting £20 for my week please. This will be for all non-grocery/bills spends. I would love to come in far under this, but I have been in bad spending habits for a while so I don't want to aim too high

Welcome Thrifty Fashionista :hello: good luck with your budget.
Pop back as often as you like to help keep you on track. I try and come on daily, I often feel embarrassed if I have to own up to spends to everyone on here, especially if they were unnecessary.Helps to stop me spending, although that clearly didn't work last week.

Morning
Been so busy at work last week so didn't get a chance to post. Total spend for last week was £26.58 / £30
I didn't get petrol at the weekend - not sure how I've managed 3 weeks on £20 - but the light came on yesterday so I will have to get some at some point this week!
Plan for this week:
Sun - NSD - didn't even leave the flat!
Mon - £10 Petrol + £10 tube
Tues - £5 - meeting bf after work for a drink..
Wed - NSD
Thu - NSD
Fri - NSD
Sat - £20 weekly shop
So that £45 for the week - hoping for another green week tho0 -

NSD for today and yesterday. I'm going to be over budget this week as I have a friend visiting and we're going out for dinner on Wednesday and I completely forgot about a charity work thing on Thursday which is costing me £5 before any drinks or food. I will just need to be as thrifty as I can and try not to go completely barmy!0
