    Afternoon all!

Very lazy day here. Made lentil and tomato soup for lunches and OHs mum sent over a chilli. We even ordered pizza for lunch!

Rest of the afternoon will be spent drinking beer and reading.

    Evening all,

Day four wheat free and feeling ok, bit under the weather but I'm hoping that's everything clearing out of my system iykwim (if. You know what I mean) skitler:D
Had a busy day with children and grand children.
Ok rant alert. Why is it that my 17 year old has a pile of dirty clothes twice as big as anyone else in this house and his dad goes out and does a dirty job every day, oh wait, could it be that he can't be ar@ed to put his clothes away so when is ask for his dirty washing he just chucks absolutely everything in sight in the s@dding basket. His room is an absolute shed and he doesn't lift a hand anywhere else in the house. Enough he is getting a real telling off when he returns from his gf and in future he will be doing his own washing:mad: sorry rant over but he makes me so mad.
ttftm I know exactly how he feels, that's the age group I taught. I left teaching in 2011 due to ill health a lot of it stress related and I never ever want to go back. I hope he can think of something else to do.
Right off for some wheat free ice cream, peaches and meringue, I feel I deserve it :A

    Evening all,

Floss2 - Blackpool is a bit far but do go next time you're here, some lovely treats there! ;)

TTFTM - All the best with the interview tomorrow. As for DH, I took the plunge 13 years ago from a job which was making me miserable, I felt I wasn't qualified to do anything else but when it came to applying and 'selling' myself in a c.v. it was easier than I thought. I got a job I love and have never regretted it.

Well, I've made a start on the ironing mountain but as we're away next week I found myself thinking I'll be washing and ironing this lot again next week!

We're off to the Cotswolds on Tuesday then Cornwall for 2 days and Bridgend for 2 days - visiting step-kids and families. Am really looking forward to it but will probably be very tired by this time next week when we get home!

Lovely chicken in mushroom and white wine cream sauce with veg and spuds for tea - inspired by someone on here last week - sorry I can't remember who, but it was delish :D

Early night with a good book I think,
    Nos da
