Does anyone know if these Interview/assessments are done at a clinic or can they be done via home visit ?
My reason for asking is I'm Autistic and going to the the initial ESA assessment 2 years ago didn't go well and they never asked me back.0 -
Since the Harrington review with ESA, and the fact that a claimant can now have the assessment recorded (you need to request it), the interviews do seem to be improving.
On top of this, due to the amount of tribunal overturns, the assessor and ATOS are being monitored.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

How long we're you waiting to get your assessments? My partner claimed as soon as she got out of hospital following a stroke and ATOS have had all the information they need since the beginning of sept... I have contacted them numerous times however all they seem to say is that there is a backlog and they don't know when it will happen...0

It was 3 months I think from my initial form getting sent in to the assessment.Play nice :eek: Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get me.:j0
