Most reviews on that hostel look ok-good, all the bad ones I've seen seem to focus on the shared bathroom (cleanliness) and the cleaning/frequency of linen changes.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Do you think 2 weeks is too long would 10 days be enough do you think? I'm not a fast walker..0

You can get the metro everywhere and walk too.
2 weeks will be a really long time and just eating out every day even just buying stuff like sandwiches and salads gets really expensive.
I would do 10 days and not stress over the money so much. Youll want money for touristy sights, shopping, food, broad way shows, etc? It will add up fast.0 -
I went to New York 2 years ago (October half term) with my 2 kids and we stayed at the Seafarers. It was absolutely fine. Staff weren't the warmest, but not unhelpful, but the room was clean. We had a family room & private bathroom. As someone else said, it's a terrific location. We were up and out by 8/8.30 each morning and not back til bedtime so we spent very little time at the hostel.
We came home on the QM2 - the flight out plus return crossing (7nts) was cheaper at the time than just getting return flights, and the transatlantic crossing was quite an experience!0
