CarCraft sell finance. The car is just a bonus.0

A lot of posts having a go knock it off.
Try to be reasonable with them ask them to look at it and give them time to fix it.
If they blame you or get pushy talk to Trading Standards.
Car Craft have had some bad press over the years.
No. People need telling.
I wouldnt part with my hard earned if i didnt like the sales man. I also wouldnt be buying anything i thought was overpriced.0 -
You bought a used car you knew was overpriced from a pushy salesman, got bad service, went through with the deal, bought from a sister company to We Buy Any Car, and now want advice.
Have you considered public transport?
WeBuyAnyCar are now solely owned by BCA.
All the purchases go through as CC Trade sales. Prior to this buy out only the tat not sold through CarCraft went to auction via CCTrade Sales. Some at BCA and some at Aston Barclay.
The OP needs legal advice.
Though the most likely occurance is, as alresdy mentioned, a pipe bursting on a long journey due to the cars mega low mileage.
I do wish the british public would stop worrying about mileage. It isn't the be all end all and does lead to problems such as hoses bursting when put used more often.
If they fix the problem you can't ask for much more.
I don't think the HG has gine unless the car was driven for a signifiant amount of time with no water.0 -
Yes, though if it turns out to be something simple, then no you wouldnt. You cant just reject for *any* reason.
The law states where a fault is so immaterial that it would be unreasonable to do so. So yes it depends on the fault, but 'simple' and 'immaterial' are not one and the same.0 -
Don't worry about the 7 day exchange plan, that's just a gimmick dealers use. Regardless of whether you have any extra warranty or not at such an early stage the dealer is still liable for certain faults/problems on the car.
If it is the headgasket it should have been picked up on their initial inspection and preparation. As long as they offer to repair it they are within their rights if they refuse then see trading standards or contact their head office:

I think you only feel bad about the deal due to what the 'experts' around you are telling you now that you have already bought it. Everyone has an opinion after the event but not many put thier money where their mouth is before you buy a car. Ignore all the 'shudda, wudda, cuuda'ves' get your car fixed and forget what you paid for it. In the long run how the car serves you is more important than the pounds you did or didn't pay for it.0 -

I've just done a quick search on the forums to see if I could glean any information as I too, am having a problem with CarCraft. I've got to say I'm pretty disgusted at this thread, the OP came on here looking for advice, not a good kicking and being told how stupid they are.
I respectfully suggest in future, if you don't have anything useful to say, you keep your opinions to yourself.
I'll be going elsewhere for advice.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0
