My week started part way through a holiday in Morocco in gorgeous hot sunshine, went a bit off course when the tummy upset kicked in and had to cancel a planned mountain mule trek on our wedding anniversary, but did enjoy a few days lazing in a beautiful mountain hotel. Then got back home and relaxing turned into a frenzy of unpacking and washing, and even though I was still on leave I dialled into work meetings. I also knew I had to prepare for a possible job interview but was tired and found it hard to concentrate.
Then today I logged on to find out my interview is happening at 8am on Tuesday:eek: So the week has ended with me desperately trying to get focussed for that. And suddenly Morocco seems ages ago!!0 -
Lovely week for me we came back from our honeymoon in Malta on Tuesday and are settling down to married life together :T Life is good

Ups and downs for me, the cat has an abscess on her paw which cost me £156 at the vets, I have to reopen the wound every day, she's not allowed out and spends all day yowling at the window, she has to have a litter tray and came down this morning to find cat litter all over the floor, pee everywhere where she has missed the tray and huge turds.
On the upside dh and I have arranged 2 yes 2 nights out, jake bugg concert a week on monday, hoping to persuade mum to have the kids overnight so we can stay over in birmingham, and a boxer rebellion concert in febuary.
Given we've barely left the house together sans kids for 2 years we are very excited!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
My stressful week started last week. I got an interview for the job I have set my heart on. Good news I hear you think! I was fast tracked to second interview stage (still good news) but had three tests to prepare. I stayed late 2 nights to do the work only to have my computer die as I was completing the third. Thank God I'd already printed the first two but I had to go in on to work on the Friday to redo the third (which was booked as a day off as I was going oop north for the weekend for a wedding.) Thankfully (in a be grateful for small mercies kind of way) we'd been told the afternoon before that we are being made redundant in December so I was able to tell my boss the truth about why I was in on my day off
It did mean however that my impending redundancy means I now feel like I have an air of desperation hanging over me when I'd originally applied for the job because I really, really want it
We did the 6 hour drive oop north on the Friday evening then back down again on the Sunday so totally knackered for my interview first thing Monday morning followed by redundancy consultation. Great!
The rest of the week I've been in limbo (don't find out till next week if I've got the job) and don't feel even remotely motivated to do any work! The redundancy date has been set to get the maximum work out of us (ie the day after our busiest period) so, as well as wanting it anyway, I'm hoping and praying I get the job so ! can hand my notice in and leave when it's most inconvenient for them (I'm not due any payoff) :rotfl:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100
