Samsung Galaxy S4 contracts
Hi, i'm currently on an old Blackberry with Virgin Media and looking to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S4.
I would prefer to stay on Virgin as being an existing customer id receive free mobile insurance.
However, i think i have found better value on 'dialaphone.co.uk', not a website im familiar with. (see below for details of the 2 contracts).
- Virgin essential - 1200 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb data per month, unlimited calls to other virgin mobiles.
-24 month contract @ £34 a month
- no upfront cost, free insurance.
Dialaphone - £69 upfront cost for the handset
- unlimited data, 500 mins per month, unlimited texts.
- 24 month contract @ £27 per month
-T-mobile 27 full monty plan
I am more attracted to the Dialaphone contract because of the unlimited data and cheaper monthly fee, although their is an upfront cost for the handset.
Does anyone on here have any experience in using dialaphone i.e are they reliable?
Can people also give their opinions on which contract they would go for?
Cheers

I got a better deal from Vodafone... Unlimited minutes and texts and 1GB data under £30 a month. Free phone and delivery.

What is the fair use policy on T-Mobile? The terms seem to avoid the actual figure. 500mb or 1GB mentioned??Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Have you tried the MSE comparison tool - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/Compare-cheap-Samsung-galaxy-s-s2-s
I've never used Dialaphone but do know that they're one of the longstanding mobile players on the internet - not a guarantee of good service in itself, I know.
NB - on the Full Monty plan, there's no fair use policy according to EE website0 -
Don't miss TCB £42 for d-a-p0

Thanks for the responses, a big help.
Have looked for information on the fair use policy and didnt find much, it appears to have been relaxed after big complaints in the last few years.
Think im going to go for the dialaphone handset, the lower monthly fee combined with the cashback on the upfront cost and the unlimited data makes it perfectly suited for me.0 -
I have used dialaphone several times in the past without any hiccups. My son also uses them and never had a problem.0

Its phones 4uDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

What the offers demonstrate is that the insurance is not "free" with Virgin but more of a built in extra you have to take regardless.
If you really need insurance it isn't that bad a deal but if you just want it because it is advertised as free then I would shop around.0 -
I clicked the fair use on the S4 page and it just mentioned 500mb = x amount of mp3's or webspages
and 1GB = double.
But nowhere did it state that 500mb of 1GB would be where it kicked in. Very very vague. Not surprised they had complaints.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
