Hi, been away for a little while, its been a bad month in many ways, ive licked my wounds and now am back on the ball trying to reduce my debts. Lots of things happened to set me back, first a health scare, then one of the pups was ill and eventually died costing £340 in vets bills, then my Working Tax Credit got reduced, Im not sure why? A bill came in for Council Tax from 2012 when I was in a relationship with some one for £500, I have agreed that I shall only pay half as they can chase my ex for the other half, i set this up as an agreement and need to get it in writing from them that Ive made the payments, 1 of £25 and 4 of £50 to show the bailiffs when they arrive and to stop me incurring any future court costs as i will have stuck to my agreement. Then I paid my Next bill off, they offered me credit and stupidly I spent £400 on clothes, i did need some new things but will chalk this up to experience, ive sent everything back that still had a lable attatched which will hopefully reduce my bill.
I need to look at my signature and start writing my lists of things to do again as I have lost my way on both of those things. I dont know why I find money so scary and why I overstretch myself all the time, if i cant afford to do something then I should just be honest with people and say sorry, no money!
Please forgive my spelling and my ramblings. Im going to try and get some stuff together for a car boot, have another declutter.Barclay card £4,024/£0 0%interest

Has anyone any experience in paying off an overpayment of Working Families Tax Credits, I have been told I need to repay £2021.85 which was from a 2012 claim, I have not been written to on how this came about or had any written information about the debt except in my provisional tax credits award for this year. Im struggling to keep up at the moment and want to know if it can be appealed? or if they will enter into an arrangement for a nominal amount?
I have just updated my signature and it is a sorry sight, I'm glad I've done it though, now I need to get motivated, some times it feels like one step back for every forward one, but there are forward steps which make me feel positive.:DBarclay card £4,024/£0 0%interest
