Karrimor Summit walking shoes not usesable

Brought a pair of Karrimor Summit walking shoes from Sports direct Thursday wore them last night and nearly went [censored] over tit when I walked into the gents, it was like walking on ice & the floor wan't particularly wet.
They are going back.

Karrimor is now a Sports Direct brand, it's good heritage has largely been sold down the river.
  • Cheap nasty stuff that always says it is on sale.

I'd like to be there when you tell them why you want a refund ! Don't think you'll have much luck. Will you be doing much walking on wet tiled floors ?

Watched a programme on BBC a couple of weeks ago - flat soles (pumps?) are better on tiled / laminate floors as there is a greater area of contact between the wearer and the floor. Walking shoes with chunky grips are designed for mud / snow etc.

T'other half and DS have cheap Karrimor walking boots / shoes and they've been ok for the level of walking they do (some incline, up to 6 miles).

I'm off Karrimor as well - bought some for dog walking, a couple of hours a day mainly on pavements and the sole has worn through to holes in under 2 months. Not impressed.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Hmmm so if I understand this correctly you bought some shoes that are designed for use outside and your going to take them back and ask for a refund because they are not very good inside?

As others have said, good luck with that.

Please let us know how you get on
