Had she explained why she thought he deserved it he may have not been so explicit, on its own it was very condemning.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Yes, but he asked for opinions, she gave hers, blunt and to the point I agree but not insulting.0

It's only an offence if on double yellow lines, double red lines or if you prevent vehicles leaving the driveway (not entering).
At least this is what you'd be told if someone parked in front of your driveway at home and even then you'd be pointed toward the Police, who in turn would probably tell you it's a domestic matter (in other words "sort it out yourself").

We must be lucky then, round here they don't seem to make the distinction, I have called them several times and they always respond, either by phoning the owner or sending a car and cop who makes them move.
Last time was about 3 weeks ago, tarmac truck doing next doors drive parked halfway accross my drive, asked him to move it so I could get in, he said in a few minutes, about twenty minutes later he moved it further across my drive, I went out got the reg, phoned the police and within 20 minutes they where round and he moved it, surprising how they go meek and mild when the police ask.
Oh, the rest of the road was empty, the only other vehicle in the vicinity was next doors car who he could have got moved as it was his drive they where doing.
