Not received Car Renewal Quote?

Hi my car insurance is due for renewal on the 22/10/13. I haven't received a renewal quote? I have sent numerous emails to customer services at 'Sheilaswheelsbrokers' mentioning having not received the quote with no answer. Also telephoned but still not received.
Obviously I need the renewal quote as proof if I switch.
They said they did send one out? Where do I stand requiring a renewal quote? They can't charge can they?
Thx

Proof if you switch? What?0

They will normally provide proof of ncd when the policy has ended - ie you could have an accident today or tomorrow against the current policy that you want to claim for. Unlikely but possible.
Have SheilasWheels provided no renewal quote? They should be able to tell you a price over the phone.
If you don't have a price, how do you know that you want to switch (other than poor cust service!)
Are you definitely changing insurer?0 -
Hi yes the proof is for NCD, I have phoned about not receiving a renewal quote & know the quote but still need the proof of NCD. Most insurances I've dealt with require an original copy. Their actual quote is competitive but with cashback through comparisons there is cheaper like for like quotes.

They will likely give you the ncd proof after the policy has expired on 22/10.
The new insurer will know the procedure for this and give you time to submit proof of ncd. Ring them and ask how long you have to do this if it's not clear in t&cs of the new policy.0 -
Make sure that your Sheila's Wheels policy is not going to auto renew.0

Hi thx ...... actually never had proof of NCD sent after policy ended, even recently with second car. Thank you all guys for your advice.... appreciated.joe2cool0

Contact the insurer now and ask them to confirm your ncd entitlement at the date your policy was cancelled.
(Assuming you don't owe them anything following the cancellation)0 -
No don't owe anything.......thxjoe2cool0

Keep at them to issue the letter confirming your ncd, even if you don't intend getting a second car again.
It will last 2 years, and can be used if you need it should your current ncd be reduced following claims.0
