Pics from laptop to phone.

For some years now, I have had an Acer Aspire 9420 laptop and have never used/found the bluetooth on it. I would like to send a few photo's from it to my x-cover GT-C3350 phone but as yet for whatever reason I cant.
Pressing the bluetooth button on the laptop makes no difference so maybe within the system, it's turned off. I put a bluetooth dongle in, via usb and turned that on and they paired, but was unable to progress further.
I'm now of the opinion that I should connect laptop/phone with cable (from £1 shop) as an experiment to see if that works.
Any idea's please?
OK, in case you're wondering why. I want to transfer a few people pics as ID when a call comes in from them so I see who it is without staining to read the text ID. (All because I'm old with failing site)

Quickest and easiest way is by USB. Your phone supports USB mass storage which means when plugged in you can drag files over to it in Windows.
Or if you have a memory card installed and a card reader on your computer (plus an adaptor if needed) you can copy them onto the memory card of your phone.0 -
Could be a few things - first things first though, what operating system are you using on your computer?0

If you've email on your phone just email them to yourself from your laptop.0

Have you tried following these instructions

Also check the troubleshooting steps at the bottom.0 -

Have you made your phones blutooth visible? I only found that out after spending hours trying. If you havnt then just go to settings wireless and network. bluetooth then click where it says visible. Then it should find your laptop. xxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Went through and followed as much as I could, but all very hasty as we're off out in few minutes. Will get a cheap cable then spend weekend experimenting, thanks thus far. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Blue tooth activated on phone (GT-C3350)
Photo taken. Send via blue tooth.

My intentions was to send a photo from camera to laptop to prove everything was as it should be, then try to reverse the procedure. My guess is that I have disabled something, but what? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
