TV licence refund

I live in London and paid my TV licence for a year in March. I moved out of my flat in September and now I have no TV.
I read on the TV licence site that it is possible to get a refund when you've paid for a licence you don't use. I filled in a form and attached a final water bill to prove I left that flat in September.
Anyone have experience claiming it back? If so, was it difficult and did it take long?
