Long story so bear with me.
I purchased my daughter an iphone in February this year, it has since developed a fault where the lock button at the top of the phone has stopped working.
I called Tesco and they said no problem and would send out an envelope for me to return it to them and they would have it back to me within 10 days.
I sent it with proof of postage so called them to check they had received it they said they had but did not have the proof of purchase for the phone i advised it was in the envelope and they then found it.
I called a week later and they said they were still checking the proof of purchase but that they had found it.
The phone was due back last week i called yet again to be told according to Apple the phone was out of warranty.
I checked myself on the apple website and found it said it was in warranty to 27 Feb 2014.
I have advised them of this and they still have the phone sitting on the shelf not even looked at because apple have said it is out of warranty
I have asked them to call apple but they have emailed them but do not appear to chase it up.
This has now been going on for 3 weeks and the phone is still sitting on their shelf waiting to be looked at.
When they eventually get the go ahead from apple they then have to send it to them for repair.
I have now been promised 5 calls back and was on the phone for 1 and 1/2 hours last night with still no answer.
Thanks for listening to my rant
