Just thought I would let you all know that this month quidco have a special offer for getting an Egg card through their site - you get £35 for a successful application.

A good reason for closing your Egg card as early as possible - since Egg requires at least 12 months before reapplying. Their current offer is also stoozable even allowing for the fee. And £35 helps offset some of the fee of course (I closed my card in March - I should have done so at the end of my last fee-free 0% anniversary, seven months sooner)

Which is what I did last year after bagging the last of the fee-free anniversary offers, so I only have to wait until October before applying again.(I closed my card in March - I should have done so at the end of my last fee-free 0% anniversary, seven months sooner)
Wonder if they'll re-instate the £15K limit? :think:0 -

Thanks for that. Do you know how long it takes for them to track the transaction via Quidco? Mine hasn't shown up yet.0

Sorry, I don't honestly know for the Egg card. I have to admit that I have not applied yet as earlier this month I took out a YBS/Co-operative Cashback card, just before spotting the £35 Egg deal and before the Capital One 4% card offer appeared and I do not want to have too many credit applications in a short space of time.
How long ago did you apply?0 -
Sorry for the late reply! I applied on the 21st of June and it still hasn't tracked. Oh well, I guess this one is not gonna track (I'll post it up if it does eventually track)0

i applied on 20th June and was accepted.
