Sky MSE 50% off codes - friendly warning!

Hi Everyone

I used one of these Sky codes earlier this year and noticed that my monthly bill had recently doubled. When I investigated, it turned out that the discount had stopped after 6 months, rather than the stated 12 months MSE offer.

I'm waiting for Sky to respond on this, meanwhile, just wanted to let other users of this deal to be aware!

  • You really need to check your "My Sky" account more often, any deals you have (and their duration) are clearly visible.
  • I signed up on a 50% off for 12 months deal last December , I'm still on the half price deal.

    Have you changed your package in any way ? as this usually cancels all discounts on your account.

    I agree this is the most likely reason the deal was ended early.

    Hi Wayne3765, I haven't changed the package, thanks for suggesting though. It turns out that the third party company who set up the account (it was installation to a flat) selected the wrong offer (a six month discount).

    If this happens to anyone, hope this post helps a little.

    All I did was point out that you'd have known far sooner if you had regularly checked your MySky account.

    I'm not sure who you are trying to "warn", how many people do you think employ a third party to set up their Sky account?
