    Maybe the bank are concerned that the money is being used fraudulently?

  • Ours should be done pretty soon. It's all being done by solicitors. Why is the Office of Public Guardian asking for accounts?
    Will this be the next step for us?


    no I don't think they will I have the impression they don't normally get in touch I am in the middle of a messy divorce and think that may have something to do with it not sure tbh

    The other possibility is that someone has reported you to the OPG as mis-managing your MOTHER's money. That's why I asked the questions I did: ie

    think ur right there yes she does have capacity and is in a home has been for 18 mths self funded shw helps pay for my day to day living and each month I top her fees up with the bond she gifted to me
