Flight Compensation result....

:AWell I had a great result from Thomas Cook... Back in 2011 we booked to go to Cuba for my partners 50th, Christmas and New Year unfortunately we were delaid and didnt fly out until later the next day we were put up in a hotel over night. We did claim on our insurance once home but only recieved £30 each,wasn't until I saw this on Martin's site that I realised we were entitled to more so on the 22nd of September this year I sent off the template from here with all neccesary details,had an email next day to say they were looking into it 2 weeks later I sent a quick email asking if they had looked at it yet and was wanting a response, I got home that evening to an email with an attached voucher for £1,028.00 result it's valued till 3rd Oct 2014 we have just moved house so money very tight but this will for sure give us a hoilday next year....So thank you Martin Lewis you are a top guy..:T:A:j

You realise you can have the cash instead of a voucher ?

Thought that maybe the figure might drop if we push for cash, but saying that we are both pleased to get anything, and it will mean we will defo have a holiday next year so we really don't mind about the vouchers......
