Sometimes answers are given and the same person will ask the same question over and over again. It becomes tedious giving the same answer repeatedly, an example of this was the coke glitch in A last year when one poster asked about a dozen times what do I get in the space of about 20 minutes, it was answered over and over again. It became monotonous. Generally speaking questions are answered, maybe not immediately but they do get answered. There will always be a few who will refuse to answer a question, however the majority of the regular posters, the backbone, of this thread are extremely helpful. I am not one of those people and I can truthfully say I have found the people of this thread most helpful, in my opinions they are :A. Of course, we are all part of this because we want to save money, that is the link that joins is all. It would be a lie to say differently. However that is not the be all and end all of this thread, if it was the amount of money raised recently for Logie and Sparkly Sarah would not have been raised. People will argue on here, the same as people do in real life, it would be impossible for every poster here to get on with each other and agree with everything all the time, but then again wouldn't it be boring if we did all agree? It shows people care about each other here with all the questions when people don't post for a while, such as for Mad as there has been no post recently and now for FloFlo. Many come on here to get away from real life, they may be going through a difficult time, here they can vent off anger which for various reasons they cannot do at home. People can and do ask for advice on absolutely anything. Encouragement and praise is given to those that need it.
I agree completely. This thread is not just a place to come for cheap stuff, it is a support network and a community too.
Questions get answered as and when, but it works best when you put the work in as well.
For example, I cant take credit for the T's Biccy glitch, buy I did quote it from the main board on here. I was one of the first to test and confirm it was working and soon that glitch was being gotten by loads os people on here, followed by hukd and 10 ways. Because we all worked together on that, we all got the benefit.
On the other side of the coin, I have had about 75 Achica orders delivered this month. The only reason is because I kept on top of what was happening with the code and did some experimenting with it after round 1. I didnt put it on here for a number of reasons( or anywhere else either, and whilst I have probably come out best on that glitch, it has not stopped plenty of others benefitting too.
The point is that with a little time invested and a little reading, people can learn what and how some things work. If I hadnt put in the effort from the info available to everyone I wouldnt have gotwhat I did. Th is helps all of us and them also find more glitches, as well as building a place for all of us to get support.0 -

Topic 4 pack is, sadly, a non-savvy buy now the price in A has gone down to £1 - was Avs M £1 (for 90p net) last week but M way back up in price now. Price reduction represents, in effect, a price increase from 90p to £1 as well as a reduction of APG back on certain comps. Double-avoid!!:D:rotfl:
[...]
Quoting myself I know, but thank goodness my A had that smaller, more expensive pack of All Bran (500g at £2.08) rather than the 750g (£2.00).
Well. Avs S £1.04 on the 500g is £1.04 ten per cent cheaper about 94p.
Would have been about £1.87 if I had needed 2x500g = 1kg. :money:
Rather than the £2.00 on the 750g. (250g more for 13p less, if I'd have needed 1kg but able to buy less (just one 500g pack rather than a 750g) and at a cheaper effective price per 100g.) Oh - 750 has gone up in price on msm (now £2.88 - maybe I was wrong - SEL said £2.00 - maybe GC + free?). But, anyway, point would have been (if I'd have remained in ignorance and not rechecked now on msm) the 750g one at £2 would have been an even worse buy on my shopping, not only would it be more expensive than the 500g one (after APG), the 750g one would have reduced the APG by about 60p (Sains being on £2.89 and ten per cent off that, higher, price).
Meanwhile, now everyone else to watch for the 750g packs (now they appear to be £2.88) and see if they are £2.00 on the shelf!!:):rotfl:0 -

I'm going to go whoopsie shopping in an hour. Is the Fajita mix in Asda still comparing against Sainsburys to give £2.21 APG?
Wondering whether to do a Deans with McVities too - Mcvities as part of pressie for next door, it should give APG of £4.60.
Chunky Chips too £2.50 against £2.30 Sainsburys APG 43p. YES I know is better against Tesco at £2 but not doing Tesco shop. Can't think of anything else I want that'll give a good return - anyone?
I will buy some Topic in Asda separately - Thanks Savvy!
Well actually I am later for the BNI but ours doesn't have 'chunky chips' Don't like other ones, too much fat. Don't forget the BNI might finish on 29th ! Might not but might - probably will as they'll be gearing up for Christmas? Filling spare freezer to capacity as we like!0 -
