No, I think you explain yourself very well. I too, do get frustrated with the same people asking the same thing over and over and saying good morning good evening etc., which means lots of people miss lots of things as it just takes too long to wade through it all. The reason it's done like this is to make it harder for store staff to correct the glitches tho, so it's pro's and cons.
The answer I suppose is a closed FB group, but then lots of people would miss out - again pro's and cons...

I've seen back in the posts polite requests for clarification followed by replies from those whose earlier posts clearly showed they knew the answer but expected that person to spend hours reading back. I appreciate if it is in the last page or two but often that isn't so. I've seen people say about marathons and suggesting these people are trying to jump in and win it at the end. For a friendly thread that isn't very friendly IMHO. Don't want to have a big argument about it. Just passing comment about the few. I have had help here and it is much appreciated.
At times, people are told just to look back and yes it may be easier to give an answer instead of telling them to read back, however some people will come to this thread won't bother reading back, just expect to be given the answer immediately without any gratitude to those that work out the glitch or give the answers. Sometimes answers are given and the same person will ask the same question over and over again. It becomes tedious giving the same answer repeatedly, an example of this was the coke glitch in A last year when one poster asked about a dozen times what do I get in the space of about 20 minutes, it was answered over and over again. It became monotonous. Generally speaking questions are answered, maybe not immediately but they do get answered. There will always be a few who will refuse to answer a question, however the majority of the regular posters, the backbone, of this thread are extremely helpful. I am not one of those people and I can truthfully say I have found the people of this thread most helpful, in my opinions they are :A. Of course, we are all part of this because we want to save money, that is the link that joins is all. It would be a lie to say differently. However that is not the be all and end all of this thread, if it was the amount of money raised recently for Logie and Sparkly Sarah would not have been raised. People will argue on here, the same as people do in real life, it would be impossible for every poster here to get on with each other and agree with everything all the time, but then again wouldn't it be boring if we did all agree? It shows people care about each other here with all the questions when people don't post for a while, such as for Mad as there has been no post recently and now for FloFlo. Many come on here to get away from real life, they may be going through a difficult time, here they can vent off anger which for various reasons they cannot do at home. People can and do ask for advice on absolutely anything. Encouragement and praise is given to those that need it.0 -
