Just back from a small muggle shop in an x-Netto, got some Birdseye nuggets that were marked at £2 but went through at £3.

I eventually got my £2 GOGW after having to ask, and wait while they discussed if they did it in that store lol
A small muggle shop :D I thought all muggles shopped together with their eyes closed

    Sorry.

(I need to get some specs. - like msm and the APG, sadly I see only 7 items there.:()

Sorry-it's got nothing to do with whether items are "staple" (or 'essential') or not - I've had quite obscure items compare (properly) on APG - going for obscure non-advertised items can be cheaper too, as not paying for expensive TV commercials (gosh, I am so cynical at times) - but it depends whether or not items are, perhaps sometimes somewhat haphazardly, on msm/a.com/APG or not.

    You didn't count recover ... 8 items :).

I noticed also that many of the SP items have increased in price over the past week or so - more expensive than most now. No doubt preparing for a much advertised Rollback ;).

Savvy tempter methinks - McCains ready baked Jackets - OMG Savvy I wouldn't buy those! That's WAY too expensive for me! Had to look them up. I have a combi microwave & do lovely jacket potatoes ONLY when I have whoopsied potatoes.

I've actually been growing potatoes in grow bags this year. I think all the foliage will be gone after the storms expected tomorrow & Monday. Because there's only the 2 of us we tend to waste potatoes so I just used them instead of wasting them & hopefully they'll keep better than shop ones.

Thanks!:T (I think I only had them on a list, never purchased them as I somewhat agree with you, as I was looking at 2s for £3 to be off.) Yea, whoopsied ones!:T:T

Glad someone else though, in the best way, should have a _pale_ as much as me!:rotfl:

I agree completely. This thread is not just a place to come for cheap stuff, it is a support network and a community too.

Questions get answered as and when, but it works best when you put the work in as well.

For example, I cant take credit for the T's Biccy glitch, buy I did quote it from the main board on here. I was one of the first to test and confirm it was working and soon that glitch was being gotten by loads os people on here, followed by hukd and 10 ways. Because we all worked together on that, we all got the benefit.
On the other side of the coin, I have had about 75 Achica orders delivered this month. The only reason is because I kept on top of what was happening with the code and did some experimenting with it after round 1. I didnt put it on here for a number of reasons( or anywhere else either, and whilst I have probably come out best on that glitch, it has not stopped plenty of others benefitting too.
The point is that with a little time invested and a little reading, people can learn what and how some things work. If I hadnt put in the effort from the info available to everyone I wouldnt have gotwhat I did. Th is helps all of us and them also find more glitches, as well as building a place for all of us to get support.

I agree with Lawrie and Loopy Lou but as I am fairly new to this site at first I wasn't realising that the answers were coming on the next page so I was sitting on the same page for ages waiting for a reply that never came ,you never to old to learn it just takes a hell of a lot longer to sink in......and also would keep reposting thinking no one had seen or it wasn't sent ... and like when my Ds says download an app Mam its as foreign to me as Chinese......as everything is in life until you are familiar with it :)....and then sometimes you wish you weren't as familiar:eek::eek::eek:

    Recover doesn't count:(.

The SP items, in a way I hope so, but doesn't matter much to me, if the price is still the same at the competitor, it makes no real odds.

Some strange mbuy price now showing (but OOS) on msm on the other versions (Excite etc.) of Lynx that we were getting before - says "£1.00 Any 3 for £5.00*" and with S on £1.00. Wonder if any other items on mbuys (real or imagined) have weird pricing?;):rotfl::rotfl::)

Press and hold down the alt key. Whilst holding it down, key in 0188 for ¼; 0189 for ½, or 0190 for ¾.

I think this only works when you are using the keypad to the right of the keyboard (not the numbers at the top of the keyboard). That would explain why Interesting Things happened :rotfl::rotfl: to some people when they tried it.

Other combinations: alt 171 is ½ (easier to remember), alt 172 is ¼, and alt 130 is ! (edit: that should be e with an acute accent on top and it was until I posted when it morphed into '!'). Those are the ones I just remember, any others I have to Google. I think you can find a whole list if you look for ASCII but I'm not sure as it is ages since I last looked for a list.

The other new shortcut I learnt recently was € which you get by pressing the Alt Gr key (to the right of the space bar) and the key which has 4 and $ on it at the top of the keyboard.

I think my middle name must be nerd!

I turn potatoes which are going off into mash and freeze it. No waste then, especially if I do a big batch at a time.

I think your missing the point of this thread, it is about the additional extras.

There are other sites were information is easily accessible like 10 ways and HUKD, but there is only one Elite!

There are closed FB sites, but these are closed and I have no idea how you get an invite to join. Although I don't say hello, I do say goodnight if I am chatting as it is rude to just stop. So make yourself a cuppa, relax and enjoy x

I'm not missing the point. I understand people use it for that social reason, but this is still the best place to find out about glitches, because of the number of people on here, so I persevere regardless and help out when I can. I work full time and have 2 kids so don't have time to read it all, which means I miss out because haven't got time to wade through all the chat.

It's a means to an end for me rather than a social diversion, but it is what it is and as someone has already said we're not going to change it, so it's all pretty academic really! :rotfl:
